Located in Cumberland, RI, this rooftop array had experienced a significant thermal event due to mismatch connectors, causing arcing at the connector which resulted in a cascade of failures, damaging roughly 20% of the PV array. NAR's O&M team was contracted to make safe the system and remove the damaged portion of the array to allow for damage assessment and roof repairs. Later, this portion of the array was designed to be reinstalled using a Genmounts racking system, retrofit to integrate with the existing system.
